FLY WITH US
THIS SUMMER

Air Camp, Inc. provides students with a variety of opportunities to learn about aviation and the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics of aeronautics. Every day is packed with activities from morning until late evening. Air Camp students take flight ground school, chart their course and fly as a student pilot. They also explore exciting aviation sites around Dayton, Ohio, where the Wright Brothers invented and perfected manned, powered, controlled, heavier-than-air flight. Dayton is home to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where Air Camp students will get to go behind the scenes and meet scientists from the Air Force Research Laboratory. The week ends with a special team project to plan a humanitarian air mission.

Realistically, potential impacts of COVID on our programs remain unpredictable.  Our primary goal for our student programs this year is to provide the safest possible opportunity for participants, staff, and curriculum partners. We especially want to be as proactive as possible in our protocols as we add the residential component of our student programs back into our plans.  Therefore, Opening Ceremonies on the first day of camps WILL NOT be open to families this year as part of our health and safety protocols in place for summer programs.  We fully expect to add this feature of our programming back in 2023.  But, we still currently plan to invite families to join the formal graduation ceremony early afternoon of the final day of the overnight student camps.
